Kumbharwada (a potter’s cluster) is an area in Pune wher pottery has been practiced for generations. The area has lost its past glory and has been encroached by the developments over the years. All this leads to poor living conditions. The project aims to understand the current situation of the craftsmen and the physical conditions of the site, understand the aspirations of the younger generation and provide a housing cum work cluster most suitable to them.
