The 2nd and 3rd Year students visited Gujarat from 16th – 25th January 2023 for their first extended study tour after the COVID Lockdown. They first explored and documented the traditional Hindu and Dawoodi Bohra settlements at Siddhpur, a historic town rich in architecture and culture 115 KM away from Ahmedabad. This was followed by intensive visits to Patan, Modhera and Ahmedabad, where the students were able to explore heritage and modern structures designed by master architects; interact with resource persons and sample the local urban culture.
