CLIMATOLOGY
Climatology in Architecture is the study of various elements of climate and their impact on the design of buildings to achieve human comfort. The course equips the students with knowledge and skills to design Efficient Buildings.
BUILDING PLUMBING SERVICES
Building Plumbing Services subject gives an insight into application of services in the two dimensional and three dimensional spaces. The services also include the distribution and disposal systems in built and un-built areas and the design focused incorporation of the plumbing systems such as water supply, sanitation, storm water management and solid waste management, in a project.
BUILDING ELECTRICAL SERVICES
Building Electrical Services subject helps students to understand the electrical energy types, the generation process, distribution and application in built and un-built environment. The students are acquainted with different types of installation systems, automation, control systems and their application in the design of the buildings and represent them via scaled drawings with appropriate sizes, calculations as per standards and Building Codes.
BUILDING MECHANICAL SERVICES
The subject is developed to make students understand about enhancement of built environment through application of different mechanical services. It offers the study of fundamentals to identify- the need of mechanical services, available technologies, system components and their applications.
ACOUSTICS AND ILLUMINATION
Acoustics and illumination in Architecture is the study of sound and light and their impact on the design of buildings to achieve sonic and visual comfort.
